Composed for an all women guitar quartet, the original title was "Four Rowdy Ladies". Based on Anda, Jaleo (On with the Riot), a Spanish folk song collected by Garcia Lorca, it features a siguiriyas percussive rhythm underlying various modifications of the melodic line.
